Salon Policies

Bright Puppy – Grooming Salon Policies
 
At Bright Puppy, our priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for pets and their families. To ensure the best service for everyone, please review our salon policies before your visit.
 
1. Appointment Booking
 

  • Booking Options: Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation text or email after booking. Please notify us immediately if there are any errors.

  • Walk-Ins: Walk-ins are welcome when available, but scheduled appointments will always take priority.
     

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
 

  • Notice Required: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $20 cancellation fee.

  • No-Shows: Clients who fail to show up without notice may be charged the full service fee.
     

3. Late Arrivals
 

  • Grace Period: We allow a 10-minute grace period. After that, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled.

  • Fees: Late arrivals may incur a $10 late fee or require rescheduling.
     

4. Health & Safety
 

  • Vaccinations: Pets must be up-to-date on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella). Proof may be requested.

  • Health Conditions: Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral concerns prior to the appointment.

  • Fleas/Ticks: If fleas or ticks are discovered, optional treatment can be applied for an additional $15 charge.

  • Aggressive/Anxious Pets: For safety reasons, we may stop or decline service if a pet becomes overly aggressive or stressed.
     

5. Grooming Process
 

  • Consultation: On your first visit, we will discuss your pet’s grooming history, needs, and preferences.

  • Mats & Tangles: Severely matted coats may require shaving for your pet’s comfort. Additional charges may apply for excessive de-matting.

  • Handling: All groomers are trained to work with patience and care. Your pet’s well-being always comes first.
     

6. Payment
 

  • Accepted Methods: Cash, major credit/debit cards, and digital payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) are accepted.

  • Deposits: A 20% deposit may be required for new clients or large/multiple bookings.

  • Pricing: Prices vary depending on breed, size, coat condition, and service requested. A final quote will be provided at check-in.
     

7. Pick-Up & Drop-Off
 

  • Timely Pick-Up: Pets should be picked up promptly when grooming is completed. A $10/hour fee may apply for late pick-ups.

  • Communication: Please notify us in advance if you are delayed for pick-up.
     

8. Delivery & Transportation (if applicable)
 

  • Arrangements: For pet delivery services, clients are responsible for providing accurate addresses and contact details.

  • Responsibility: Bright Puppy works with trusted transport partners, but is not liable for delays caused by carriers or unforeseen travel issues.
     

9. Satisfaction Guarantee
 

  • Feedback: Your satisfaction matters to us. Please notify us within 24 hours if you have any concerns, and we will do our best to address them.

  • Refunds: Refunds or credits are provided at our discretion and may be applied to future services.
     

10. Salon Etiquette
 

  • Leashes & Carriers: Pets must arrive on a leash or in a carrier.

  • Children: Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.

  • Behavior: Aggressive or overly disruptive pets may require rescheduling or special handling.
     

11. Emergency Policy
 

  • Veterinary Care: In case of an emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If necessary, we will seek veterinary care. Clients are responsible for associated costs.
     

12. Changes to Policies
 

  • Bright Puppy reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated via email.
